The Friendship Test: What Kind Of Friend Is She?
Ever wondered which friendship style your pal belongs to? Did you even know that there are different friendship styles? Take our friendship quiz to find out what kind of friend she is.
1. You are in the pub with your friend and it’s her turn to buy the drinks. She:
Asks your boyfriend to go with her to help her.
Splashes the cash and comes back with a more expensive, more impressive round than yours.
Has conveniently “forgotten” her purse and asks you to pay.
Heads straight to the bar and immediately tells the barman all the secrets you have just told her.

3. You have been losing weight recently. Your friend:
Invites you round for dinner and gives you the smallest portion ever “to encourage you.”
Hasn’t been turning up to the exercise classes you agreed to do together.
Calls her friends up and tells them all about how skinny you’ve become.
Loses even more weight than you, just to prove that she can.
Bemoans the fact that she can’t lose weight and is so depressed about it.
Asks your boyfriend if he really does like the skinny look or whether he prefers a more voluptuous figure like hers.
4. You’ve bought a fantastic new pair of shoes that you love. You show them to your friend. She:
Gets straight on the phone to tell everyone how spoiled you are.
Whips out her more spectacular, expensive pair.
Asks you to buy her a pair too.
Is late turning up to meet you. Again.
Puts them on and asks your boyfriend if he thinks she looks good in them.
Barely acknowledges your shoes and keeps moaning about how rubbish her life is.
5. It’s a mutual friend’s birthday and you’re going shopping with your friend to get a present. She:
Complains that no one ever buys her a birthday present and that she hates her life anyway.
Goes behind your back and presents your friend with an amazing, really expensive gift that’s just from her.
Claims not to have any money and asks you to cover her share.
Insists that your boyfriend comes with you and then spends the entire time flirting with him.
Is late arriving, but it’s not her fault because she got lost, then aliens abducted her, and finally her mobile phone died.
Spends the entire trip relaying to you every bit of gossip that she’s heard over the past week.
6. You are throwing a dinner party at your house. Your friend:
Makes lots of comments about how your party is much smaller than her last one.
Sits next to your boyfriend all night and keeps asking him if her top is too revealing.
Sobs into her wine all night complaining about how much she hates her life.
Arrives empty handed and then helps herself to your wine.
Probes everyone for any little tidbits of gossip she can find, and has a few juicy bits to tell everyone herself.
Phones you five minutes before the party starts to say she can’t be bothered to come.
7. You’re going on a girl’s holiday. Your friend:
Buys a brand new wardrobe for the trip to ensure she always looks better than everyone else.
Shows your boyfriend all the pictures once you’re back home, especially the ones of her skimpily dressed and looking hot.
Asks you to lend her the money for her ticket and then conveniently forgets to pay you back.
Phones or emails people while you’re away to relay what’s going on with who.
Couldn’t go because she wasn’t organised enough to get a ticket in time.
Talks incessantly about her sunburn/how she’s missing her boyfriend/does she look fat in this bikini?
8. You are having a family crisis and need your friend’s help. She:
Reassures you that your problems are nothing compared to hers and then tells you all about them.
Revels in your misery.
Phones your boyfriend and arranges to meet him “to see how they can help you.”
Is happy to help, as long as you pay for dinner and drinks all night.
Gets straight on the phone afterwards to tell everyone your dilemma.
Completely fails to turn up.

Of fine and purest white
It reaches toward the sun for warmth,
For heat and for the light
My love for you grows stronger still,

Its petals shine from morning dew
Its stem grows stiff and strong
It stands strong through the freezing cold
It stands the winter long
